The October school break saw us heading away for a few days which meant the chance to run some different trails and places. I always find that running somewhere new or different from the norm re-energises me.
Family commitments meant that I had to take my opportunities when and where I could plus the time of year meant a bit of running at dusk heading into darkness, my favourite time to run! I didn’t get anything too long undertaken but managed to squeeze in a run every day. Regardless of length it is always good to get out on the trails. What follows is a selection of some of the pictures that I took along the way. I rarely if ever carry a phone with me but my faithful Canon is rarely away from my side.
I love this part of the world and have been coming here since I was a child, more years ago than I care to remember. It is a special place to me but I only had 4 nights there. I will be back soon. Over the years I have snowboarded, mtb’d, climbed, kayaked and slept out under the stars in a bivvy bag. I am now seeing it through different eyes as a result of running through this great part of Scotland.
